Piatt County Taxes and Fees

Sales Tax - Piatt County does not collect a sales tax. The county receives a portion of the sales tax collected by the State of Illinois on taxable sales in the county according to a formula established by the state.

Property Tax Rate - Piatt County levies property taxes at the rate of $1.1850 per hundred dollars of assessed valuation. The levy breaks down as follows:
